Nightlife Spot: The Basement - Disco The Marriott is a regular haunt of Islamabad's small population of Western expats, because its nightclub has one of very few licensed bars in Pakistan - which is only open to foreigners. Pakistan is officialy dry but still few clubs are there, most of them private but few operated by leading hotels. Most of their clients are foreigners and elite class. In big cities like Islamabad, Karachi and Lahore there are a few clubs. One of them is "The Bassment" at Marriott Islamabad. Elites and girls n guys of higher upper class often go there for dancing. Security is usually very strict and you might be refused. On special events like New Year, special parties are arranged. I don't know exact entry rates but expect it could be around £10 The theme is Dancing at the Marriott Hotel, Islamabad. Hot Shots Nightclub The UN club is another possible, You can drink till you drop! The bar has an Irish theme to it. a nice swimming pool, gym which turns into a dance floor, pool table. Friday's is international night so dress to impress. |
