About Me
Hi, My name is Talat Mahmood. I'm a British Pakistani from Manchester, England.
I speak English, some Urdu, Punjabi and Potwari (spoken from Rawalpindi to Mirpur)
I am professional, courteous and friendly.
I have experience in residential property repairs and refurbishment in England.
I'm enthusiastic and passionate about working on construction projects in Rawalpindi Pakistan, this can be extremely demanding, but I enjoy it.

What I do.

I travel to Pakistan and organise and oversee construction and maintenance projects on residential buildings.
I can aquire quotes and costings for materials, hire and co-ordinate, supervise activities and workforce.
When possible I negotiate the maximum discounts for materials and pass the savings on to you.
I will solicit multiple bids from contractors in every category of work involved in your project.

I can also advise on the procedure for buying and selling plots of land as I experienced it first hand.

‘Load shedding’ is a daily occurance, I keep the site functioning during this time, unlike most people who stop work at the first chance.

Water Boring and fitting of all types of motors and water pumps.

Fitting of electrics from electric sub meters, fuse boxes to full rewiring

Waste and Sanitary tank construction
Building of main structures, shops, Homes etc.

Project Progress reports
I take photos and make videos on a daily basis recording work in progress, so you get updates on a regular basis.

 if you need somebody to be on your side of the table, looking out for your interests, someone that will give you advice and guide you through the process.

Consider the risks
Hiring me will remove the risks that you would face when dealing with some local contractors who often:
Take the advance payment and disappear.
Take your money and start your project when they want.
Not work to your timescale
Use faulty or second grade poor quality materials
Not make the final payment for materials.
Not make payments to subcontractors or workforce
Abandon your project
Supply Poor quality workmanship
Add their own ‘cut or commission’ onto the cost of labour or materials.

My Fees
After we meet and discuss your project, I will tell you an estimated time line for your project as well as what you can expect my fees to be. I don't base my fees on a percentage of costs like other construction site manager’s. I think it makes more sense for the fee to be based on my actual time involved in the project.

I even guarantee that my fees will not exceed a certain amount so long as the there are no changes to the agreement.
